Um, hello?

That's right people, I'm still alive! :)

=============================================

:bulletgreen: Where were you??? :bulletgreen:

=============================================

Well, actually it's been so long ago that I stopped coming here entirely that I've forgotten how I ended up being "dead" at dA! From what I remember, I stopped coming here because I was becoming more and more preoccupied with finding a job, so that kept me busy for one. And I was also having problems with our PC's video card and antivirus software, which discouraged me from making new deviations and logging in at dA. Plus, I wasn't really inspired to create because I was very VERY upset with not being able to land a job after going to countless job fairs and personal interviews.

But while some things went bad, something good came up eventually! :)

:bulletgreen: I love my DS Lite!!! :bulletgreen:

=============================================

YEEEEEESSSS!!! I now have a DS Lite!!!

I was in for a shock last June actually, because when my mom and sis came home from visiting our relatives in Canada, and then in the car, on our way home, my sis shows off her brand-new Onyx black DS Lite and starts playing Chocobo Tales! :jawdrop:

An even bigger surprise was in store when we got home, because my mom pulled out a copy of Super Mario 64 DS out of the luggage. At first I thought it was an extra game for us to share on the black DS, but then she also pulled out a wrapped box. And yeah, you guessed it, it was a second DS lite just for me!!

So yeah, I've stopped emulating using our PC and instead have been playing some of the great titles released for the DS. Our current library?

:bulletblue: Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales
:bulletblue: Super Mario 64 DS
:bulletblue: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
:bulletblue: Trauma Center: Under the Knife
:bulletblue: Final Fantasy III
:bulletblue: Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
:bulletblue: Hotel Dusk: Room 215
:bulletblue: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
:bulletblue: Mario Party DS
:bulletblue: Cooking Mama 2
:bulletblue: Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All
:bulletblue: Etrian Odyssey

Currently playing Etrian Odyssey, and I plan to get Nanostray 2 on February! :boogie:

And oh yeah, mine's a Polar white DS. Nice color, but I REALLY have to be careful not to let it get dirty!

=============================================

:bulletgreen: Jobless no more!!! :D :bulletgreen:

=============================================

Who would've thought I'd end up working 15 minutes away from our house? :XD:

Yep, I've finally landed a job, and I'm now a call center agent (how original). Actually, I'm using a company PC to access dA right now!

What's that like? Well... I come to work at 12 am and spend the day answering inbound calls for a full-time shift, then check out at 9 am to go home and sleep until it's nighttime again (good morning!). Yeah, it's rough having a shift like this. But hey, compared to other call centers here in the Philippines, I think we actually have it easy because of our facilities. And when you're 15 minutes away from work, who's complaining? :nod:

Well, financial stability is with me for now, and that's why I've been able to afford to buy all those DS cards! And even a new phone to replace my way-past-its-retirement-date monochrome phone.

Hopefully I can switch over to a day-shift position with the company's HR department sometime (philosophy major, and proud of it!). For now, I guess I'll just go with the flow!

=============================================

:bulletgreen: Are you back now? :bulletgreen:

=============================================

Well, to be honest, not just yet.

I just wrote this to let you guys know I haven't forgotten about you, and from the messages I've been getting on my main page and my deviations, I'm glad you didn't forget me either.

I dunno when I'll come back, probably when I get our PC fixed for good and I can resume my works as normal. Alternatively, I could save up for that notebook I've been wanting! :plotting: OH, but I wanna buy a Wii too!!!

Until then guys, see ya! :wave:

That's some great news! I understand how life pulls you away from the Net and now I understand (and now I'm glad I didn't delete you from my devWATCH list during my "cleaning").

Can't wait until your real return!

It's good to know you're not dead. :O

Actually, as weird as it sounds, after checking your page to see if you had been on at all and seeing the comments that were left there a small part of the dream I had that night was about you making a journal. Does that make me psychic or something? :O_o:

Congratulations on the job, it's not always easy to find one. :( I don't know if I could handle that kind of job, though I might actually like the hours.

HOLY FLIP YOU'RE ALIVE!!!!!!!

...I mean, thank goodness you're still "alive" so to speak. I had a feeling life outside the Internet was pulling you away for long periods of time. Heck, I outright KNEW it! Good to hear from you.
