Mandy slaps Grim in the face and tells him to pipe down. Grim fixes his head so his chin doesn't point to the ceiling and listens eagerly.

Mandy:
Yeah, you heard me right. I've been thinking, and I feel you've been working for us hard and long enough. You're really helpful for a bag of bones, but we can't expect you to serve us forever until we grow up. And you're needed in the underworld after all. We can just negotiate something and completely forget our little agreement.

Grim: (sniffing in disbelief)
Oh thank you! I never thought it possible, but you actually have a heart

My entry for the

group's December contest.The theme is Hearth's Warming Eve/ponies in winter.

Entries with humanized canon characters are allowed, so I thought I'd draw a scene based on Winter Wrap-up this time. The pic was supposed to include just Pinkie and Twilight from the lake-scoring scene, but the pic had a bit of empty space so two more characters I've already humanized were added.

Still need some more practice doing full backgrounds, but I think this one turned out well!

With Pinkie at the reins of this little skating lesson, something tells me that this particular endeavor can only end in the absolute CRAZIEST of ways! Haha

But it's good to know that no matter how this impromptu skating class may end up, the girls will be coming out looking exquisitely CUTE in the end on all accords!

And of course, under your masterfully sweet design treatment, how could they not come out looking anything but heart-meltingly adorable?

The combination of their Winter Wrap-Up-themed figure skating-style outfits, in conjunction with Pinkie ever-lovingly letting Twilight hold onto her for security makes for quite the wonderfully sweet scene indeed. And Pinkie's usual, jovial expression coupled with Twilight's expression of reserved uncertainty only add to these magnificent feelings of Winter warmth! ^^

And everything is brought together so very nicely within this sweet scene with you great work in the BG as well. The snow-covered landscape and the frosted pine tress decorating the hillside make for an absolutely perfect “Winter Wonderland” feeling. And of course, who could forget little Dinky giving a sweet, helping hand to her mother on the frozen lake as well? I must say, this delightful little Wintertime backdrop that you have so wonderfully brought to life here could easily melt even the coldest heart out there! ^^

As always, you know just the perfect way to bring light and warmth to all of our hearts and souls during this chilly time of the year. I thank you so very much for taking the time to share this lovely, smile-inducing masterpiece with us, pal.
