More of the Cutie Mark Crusaders crossed over with the song "Smooooch ・∀・" by Kors-K.
In addition to the previous crossover I did with the "CMC Smooooch wallpaper" pack, here's a couple more frames from the song's intro.
Not really confident that I can create a full video parody, but I want to animate at least the running cycle for the three crusaders along with these two frames!
But I have to say, I can always count on your fabulous humanized renditions of these 3 adorable fillies putting a very BIG smile on my face, and your latest work of GENIUS here is certainly no exception to that, my friend! You did an absolutely impeccable job on the pause frame poses and facial expressions, and everything you have brought to life here in your parody stylings is, as always, nothing short of absolutely PERFECT!
And it's great to hear that you are planning on animating the entire running scene with the 3 CMCs with he addition of these pause frames as well. But I also have to say, that if you do decided to try and go with animating the ENTIRE video, I think that is a project that you will be able to accomplish quite extraordinarily. Because frankly, with all of the artistic gifts and skills that you posses in that creatively genius mind of yours, if ANYONE out there has the talent to pull something like that off, it is most definitely YOU, pal!
But in any case, thanks so much for sharing another heartwarming piece of BEMANI/MLP crossover gold with us, Jdan, and I sincerely cannot wait to see how you will delve into this wonderfully amusing parody project next!
I decided to give this Kors-K crossover another go because I finally got around to playing Reflec Beat+. I really enjoyed all three trial songs, especially "Wuv U" of course! And after looking at the available song packs, I would really like to get the one with "Smooooch" and "Flowers (2nd Ed)". The price seems a bit steep, but a buck per song is worth it.
For now, I've also gone back to playing the two Kors-K songs on Stepmania!
And yes, I have to say, along with the jubeat PLUS/jukebeat song packs as well, the $3.99 for 4 songs price tag can seem quite steep at times. But I also must admit, considering the usual fantastic quality of Konami's BEMANI music works, in the long run they are truly worth it, and "Smooooch" and "Flowers (2nd Ed.)" are some of the most fun ones to play as well, in my own opinion!
And in still speaking of Kors-K songs, a brand-new song pack was just recently released for the international version of Reflec Beat+, featuring the ever-fun "Sig-Sig" as well as "L'erisia (Primal Logic)" by Zektbach!
I do hope you get a chance to play these great Reflec Beat+ tracks for yourself soon, because I know that you will have a LOT of fun with them indeed, my friend!
And also, in other music game-related news, it looks like Cytus has just released its 3.0 update over this last day.
Looks like Rayark went the IAP route anyway, but I'm completely okay with that! It's indie devs like these guys who deserve financial support! Plus, I'm sure most Cytus players can't wait to get new content!
I'm gonna be busy replaying Cytus, but I'll take a look at the Reflec Beat packs as well. Tomosuke (Zektbach/Orange Lounge) is one of my fave Bemani artists after all!
